Neighbor to Neighbor (herein after referred to as N2N) is a community volunteer program established around 1914 to provide compassionate assistance to individuals and families in crisis. Through the years, N2N has continued to provide opportunities for volunteers to serve their community with compassion and empathy as work with others to realize self-sufficiency. As an organization we are committed to Following Christ’s example of compassionate service, one need at a time.

N2N provides basic essentials , through Family Emergency Services (FES) in the form of basic food and toiletry items, clothing and household items, to individuals and families experiencing hardship as a result of losses from fire, job loss, movement in/out of emergency shelters and other life crises. N2N also provides emergency assistance through referrals to partner agencies to clients experiencing hardships who are living below the poverty line as outlined by the Federal Poverty Guideline.

N2N provides free programs to the community to encourage holistic development by promoting self-sufficiency through education as a means to helping clients find purpose. Coping mechanisms to help manage the stress from the challenges of daily living are taught in the form of seminars on family life, financial management, and physical health and wellness. This includes exercise, addiction control and balanced nutrition programs.

In keeping with the mission statement, N2N seeks to remain responsive to the needs of the community. However, currently we are short on space, but long on dreams. The expansion of the physical plant will provide the additional space to sponsor and develop programs based community demands. One resource that will be addressed is the continued request for counseling services, N2N is working creating a program that meets the counselling, therapy and life coaching needs of our community and neighboring its townships.
